What is a LifeGroup?
Life Groups are designed to allow for intimate fellowship in a
casual setting. The groups meet in someone’s home that has agreed to be
a host and the size is relatively small and intimate (usually 6 to 12
people). Once a group has formed, they typically meet once a week on an
appointed day and time. The time together is spent focusing on the Word
and sharing Christ’s impact on our lives in a caring environment.
The LifeGroup is more than a meeting - it is a network of
relationships. It doesn’t take long before friendships are fostered and
supportive relationships are established. These relationships extend
beyond the meeting time and become a cornerstone of life in the church.
When the LifeGroup does gather together it brings opportunity to make
close friendships, to share honestly, to pray for each other, to learn
from the Scriptures, to grow spiritually, and to develop ideas and
listen to God's direction for loving and serving those around us.
If you need some friends you need to be in a LifeGroup. If you need to
learn to pray, want to help people on their spiritual journey,
encourage people or be encouraged you need to be in a LifeGroup. If
you feel you're called to leadership you need to be in a LifeGroup.
